Time to share something more than my history

                    Emotion Splattered
There it stands,
that tear splattered wall
a tie-dyed forest of red, violet, and gold
colors  of greatness, anger, bruises and scars.
Reminders of memories—
            loved, hated avoided.

That musk scent of old chicken droppings,
saturates the mouth—
            dry taste of horror.
That dreaded smell, dirty, staining.
Dodged daily with all strength of soul
but still there, unforgettable,
violent violet scars hidden deep within.

Applause echoes through the golden gym
Names called one by one—
one name called over and over again.
Warm too bright lights hide the flush,
when pride and embarrassment collide,
as too large feet stumble down
awkward bleacher steps.

Icy hazel eyes glare at frozen peers
blazing red once more.
Betrayal came from everyside.
Again it came—
that moment, when all fell apart.
Eyes choke, thaw, drip,
an ability thought lost.
Refreeze colder, hotter, harder than before.

A tie-dyed past, stained with colors
vibrant, dull, tainted.
they stare boldly out—
            A glaring persistent red temper
            embarrassment tainted golden days
            hated purple scars hidden underneath.
All forever recorded,
in that masterpiece of tears.
