Sometimes

Sometimes God tells you something so that you will have the courage to go out and do what you need to do.

And sometimes what you needed to do doesn't end up the way God tells you it will.

It's tempting to give up hope,

to lose faith, and forget that God only tells truth.

But there's one thing that if you remember it will make it so much easier on you.

God's time is not our time

Just because one moment didn't end how you expected it doesn't mean things are completely over.

Think of the Jews and Christ.

God gave them all the information regarding both comings of Christ.

But because when Christ came only some of the prophecies/promises were fulfilled they denied him.

God tells us what is in the future.

To give us hope,

So that we can have courage

And so we will go forward when we need to.

Now I just have to remember that those things God told me are still true.

Things are just happening differently than I had ever thought they would.

That seems to be happening a lot lately.
