NYU

The other day I was looking at Masters programs, weird I know for having just started my sophomore year of my bachelors program, but I decided that if I was serious about getting a masters I should try to figure out what exactly they were looking for in graduate students. I learned that there are some things I need to decide, such as I'd kind of like to take Spanish, just so I can pretend like I don't know it and then understand what people around me are saying, but the Masters programs want you to have a reading knowledge of French or German. Which would be an easy problem if BYU-I still offered German; but they don't so that's not an option. So I suppose I should take French, but after spending my high school career mocking French I'm not sure if that's what I want to do. The good news is that since I'm going to be in Europe for the first half of the spring semester I won't actually have to solidly make a decision until next winter; so I guess I'll just have to spend some serious time debating, praying, and pondering for that.
Best of luck to myself... which may be rather self-serving, but still I feel that I need it.
